ICMA Launches Open Forum for Brownfields Practitioners

This is part of the Samuel Colt complex of buildings in Hartford, Connecticut. Still standing from the industrial heyday are many buildings reused by the city's municipal workers. The International City/County Management Association (ICMA) “Knowledge Network” provides brownfields practitioners and interest groups with news, resources and an interface for peer exchange. The online community is built to feature rich content, provide a platform for social networking and knowledge exchange, plus offer ways of partnering with other business leaders working with brownfields.

The National Brownfields Conference’s “Call for Ideas” will accept submissions for full sessions, short presentations, and poster gallery ideas until Friday, July 30.
